Fuck the idols who fetishized black culture but degrade black people, fuck the companies who openly exploit black music and are overtly are racist, fuck the idols and mc who do blackface, and fuck everyone who knows it is racist and do not do anything.

Black people mean so little to you, yet you gain so much fame and money off the exploitation of their culture.

I am so sickened with this entire kpop culture. I really am.

No matter how much love and acceptance we as black, afro-latina, or what have you pour into this kpop culture we are consistently met with racism.

And it is a direct affect from white supremacy. Do you know who many white people work hand in hand with kpop companies for the expansion of the Hallyu wave? And these white people stickin’ their dicks in everyone’s coffee as usual go and perpetuate their racism to Asian markets.

How can you say you love black people, and turn around and hide the racist shit your peers do? How can you knowingly reap the benefits of black entertainment at the expense of dehumanizing black people?

Regardless, I agree. For me, something felt really unhealthy and actually insulting about following the Hallyu back when I was in high school. It’s all becoming so obvious now, and I’m really not liking it—I’m hating it even more.
